Rimac has been spotted testing its Nevera supercar at the Nürburgring, fueling rumors the Croatian company could be planning to break yet another record with the 1914 hp electric coupe.

The CarSpyMedia YouTube channel published footage on Wednesday of a Nevera lapping the Nordschleife during one of the track's industry pool sessions, which allows manufacturers to test cars through untimed laps.

Earlier this month, Rimac used the Nevera to set 23 acceleration and braking records, including 0-60 time of 1.74 seconds and a quarter-mile time of 8.26 seconds. The car also holds the EV record for top speed, at 258 mph.

Seeing the Nevera on the Nürburgring suggests Rimac isn't done just yet when it comes to setting records. The fastest production EV to lap the Nürburgring is currently the NIO EP9, which set a time of 6:45 back in 2017. The fastest electric car to ever lap the Nürburgring is the Volkswagen ID.R, with a lap time of 6:05, set in 2019.

It's possible Rimac could be gunning for the outright record, currently held by the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series with a time of 6:43. With nearly 2000 hp on tap, we wouldn't be surprised if the Nevera takes the crown.
