Rihanna's former London mansion is on sale for £32m
The former London mansion of singer and actress Rihanna is on sale for £32m ($41m).
The price tag of the gated double-fronted detached eight bedroom house includes all the furniture and contents pictured and is dressed just as it was when Rihanna lived there for 2.5 years.
“This magnificent house on St John’s Wood Park is perfect for a music, business or political mogul. It is one of the most important houses to come onto the market in the local area in recent years,” said Gary Hersham, founding director of Beauchamp Estates, in a statement sent to Yahoo Finance UK.
“It is an exceptional property with the garden floor and large garden superb for relaxation whilst the reception room on the raised ground floor is wonderful for big parties.”
The five-storey house, which is within close proximity of St John’s Wood Underground Station (Jubilee Line) and the open spaces of Primrose Hill and Regent’s Park, has a carriage driveway and a passenger lift.
The main reception room has a 12 seat dining area and two lounge areas with twin fireplaces and two sets of French doors opening onto twin balconies overlooking the garden.
The large landscaped rear garden is 126 feet deep by 130 feet wide. The house also benefits from already-secured planning permission to build a 16,000 square feet home on the grounds of the mansion.
The mansion boasts eight bedrooms. The principal bedroom suite is on the first floor and includes the bedroom, an adjoining sitting room, twin dressing rooms and a main bathroom with steam shower and infrared sauna. Two of the other seven bedrooms have ensuites while two others have a shared ensuite and one with a separate shower room.
The property also has a gymnasium and two entire floors of entertaining space.
Rihanna is famous for chart-topping singles including ‘Umbrella’, ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’, ‘Don’t stop the music’, ‘Only Girl (in the world)’ and ‘Diamonds’ and Hollywood movies including Battleship (2012) and Ocean’s 8 (2018). She’s also a businesswoman and philanthropist.
The local St. John’s Wood area is popular with celebrity residents who include music legend Sir Paul McCartney, actress Emma Watson, and artist Damien Hirst.
