Rick Karsdorp’s wage demands complicate Besiktas transfer

Rick Karsdorp’s wages are posing an obstacle in the player’s negotiations with Besiktas.

The Turkish giants have shown interest in the out-of-favor Roma fullback and are currently exploring ways of luring him to Super Lig.

Karsdorp’s exit is of crucial importance to Roma who need cash to reinvest in their own transfer targets.

However, the deal appears more difficult than initially anticipated.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Besiktas appear to be scared by the demands of the player who continues to ask for the same salary he earns at Roma: 2.2 million euros plus bonuses.

Too much for Besiktas; until he lowers his salary it will be difficult – except in Arabia – for him to find a team.
