Reporter deftly shoves unruly fan away from live shot during Stanley Cup game Monday
There was one winner from Florida during Monday night’s Stanley Cup Final game in Las Vegas, and it wasn’t a Panther player.
The Golden Knights rolled to a 7-2 win over the Florida Panthers as Las Vegas took a 2-0 series lead.
Samantha Rivera of CBS Miami was the star of the night. While reporting from T-Mobile Arena, a Las Vegas fan tried to step in front of the camera.
Rivera shoved the fan back and said: “Nope! Nope! Nope! That’s the kind of fan you don’t want to be.”
Talking about Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final, stiff-arming a fan trying to get on camera and getting into the highlights.

As that video went viral, Rivera shared a message on Twitter.
“Listen, I don’t give a damn what team you’re rooting for - get the hell out of my face when I’m working and respect that I’m here to do my job,” she wrote.
“Excited to get back home to some classy #Panthers fans for game 3!!”

She’s absolutely right.
This reminds me of a famous moment from Chicago following a Bears’ playoff loss in 1987. John Drummond of the CBS affiliate was none too pleased with unruly Bears fans.
