Report: Kostas Manolas nearing shocking return to Roma

Roma are about to add two major reinforcements to their defense for this new season.

After adding Mario Hermoso to Daniele De Rossi’s ranks, Roma look to secure Mats Hummels on a one-year deal.

Moreover, Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo reports that Roma are also very close to bringing back Kostas Manolas to the capital.

The Greek defender will join the club on a similar deal to Hummels, given that he’s been a free agent since his Salernitana spell came to an end last season.
