Report: Kawhi Leonard to return from injury vs. Celtics, finally play with Paul George

Good news for Los Angeles Clippers fans: you’re finally going to see both of your stars on the floor together.

According to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk and Adrian Wojnarowski, Kawhi Leonard is set to make his return from injury, and he and Paul George will finally play together when the Clippers face the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.

Leonard has missed the last three games with a left knee contusion, which happened at the exact worst time: Paul George, returning after rehabbing from dual shoulder surgeries, was set to make his season debut just as Leonard went down.

Leonard and George both joined the Clippers during the most recent offseason (Leonard via free agency and George via trade from the Oklahoma City Thunder), and have yet to share the court as teammates. On Wednesday night that finally changes, and Clippers fans will finally get to watch the stars they’ve waited months and months to see.
