A construction worker at SoFi Stadium died Friday after a fall, police told Fox 11 Los Angeles. ESPN confirmed a worker died, and that the site had been shut down temporarily.

The fall occurred around 11:40 a.m. PT. The worker was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Fox 11 Los Angeles. Police have not released the person’s name, or the circumstances surrounding their death. The worker reportedly fell from about 50 to 60 feet, according to KTLA5.

SoFi Stadium is expected to serve as the new venue for both the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers during the 2020 season. The stadium was supposed to open July 25 for a Taylor Swift concert, but that date was pushed back due to the coronavirus. Swift’s concerts at SoFi have been pushed to 2021.

Construction at the stadium continued despite coronavirus concerns. Twelve workers have tested positive for coronavirus during construction.
