Report: Chad Johnson to work out for CFL team

Chad Johnson isn't ready to give up football yet.

The flamboyant receiver will work out for the Canadian Football League's Montreal Alouettes, according to a report from NFL.com.

Johnson hasn't been on an NFL roster in two years. He was last with the Dolphins in 2012, but was released that preseason after his involvement in a domestic violence incident with Johnson's then-wife. The two have since divorced.

During his 11-year NFL career, Johnson reached the Pro Bowl six times and was named to the All-Pro team twice. He caught a total of 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns in 10 seasons with the Bengals and one year with the Patriots.
