Recent Barcelona veteran officially joins Celta Vigo

Ex-Barcelona full-back Marcos Alonso has officially joined Celta Vigo.

The 33-year-old was released from his contract at Camp Nou when his deal expired earlier this summer.

Alonso has enjoyed an eclectic career, starting out in the Real Madrid youth system before spells at Bolton Wanderers, Sunderland and Fiorentina.

His biggest success came at Chelsea, where he won the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, Europa League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup.
