Karim Benzema is fit to start for Real Madrid in tonight’s massive Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.

The 13-times winners get the knockout stages underway with a huge tie against the Ligue 1 leaders, who are once again seeking their first title.

Benzema has been struggling with a hamstring injury and hasn’t featured since the 2-2 LaLiga draw with Elche on January 23.

However, the Frenchman has travelled with the squad to his homeland and suggested a final training session at the Parc des Princes would decide his involvement when speaking at Monday’s pre-game press conference.

“It’s been a lot of work but I feel much better,” he said. “We have the last training session to see if I am feeling good and I can play tomorrow.”

Ferland Mendy is also fit to start following his own hamstring issue, while Carlo Ancelotti has opted for Marco Asensio on the right of his attack.

Real Madrid starting XI: Courtois; Carvajal, Militão, Alaba, Mendy; Casemiro, Kroos, Modric; Vinicus Jr, Benzema, Asensio.
