Lamar Jackson feeling better, '120 percent' ready to go vs. Browns

Quarterback Lamar Jackson was so sick before the Baltimore Ravens' Week 11 game against the Chicago Bears that he was curled up in a ball on the team plane and didn't even notice when they landed.

A week later, Jackson is feeling better and says he's ready to start for the Ravens against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. He practiced on Wednesday and told the media that he's "120 percent" sure he's good to take the field.

"I'm feeling good. Great this time," Jackson said via ESPN. "... Positive. Certain. No relapses, man."

"I think I'm fully back to normal. I want to go out there and just go. I don't want to go out there and limit myself or have coach limit me."

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Ravens had a non-COVID virus tear through the organization last week and Jackson caught it, experiencing fatigue, chills and sweating. He missed a few practices leading up to Week 11 but felt better on Friday and participated in practice. He thought he was clear of it until he woke up Saturday feeling awful again, and felt even worse on Sunday.

That's when backup QB Tyler Huntley got the text from Jackson letting him know he was starting. Jackson watched the game from the locker room with one of those big QB cape coats around him. When Huntley led the 72-yard game-winning drive with under a minute left, Jackson told (and showed) the media that he felt like he was healed.

Jackson feeling 120 percent ready to go doesn't mean it's official. Though it's extremely likely that he'll start, head coach John Harbaugh hasn't announced it yet.
