Although you’re probably most familiar with green succulents, you can find the plants in a range of colors. The Sedeveria Pink Ruby Succulent starts out as greenish purple and changes to become hot pink under certain conditions.
You might have noticed your succulents change color. That’s its response to stress and extreme conditions around them, including sunlight, very hot or cold weather, and when the plant isn’t being watered properly. Some succulents have a more noticeable color change than others, and the rare one we’re talking about today is certainly one of them.
The Sedeveria is a hybrid, caused by the cross between sedum and echeveria plants. It’s a small succulent with thick rosette formations. It’s typically green, silver green, or blue green, but can have colorful accents. In the case of the Sedeveria Pink Ruby, it takes on bright pink and red colors under stressful conditions.
