Raptors unveil new City Edition jersey for 2021 season

The Toronto Raptors introduced a new jersey for the 2021 season after confirming Fred VanVleet’s four-year extension Tuesday.

VanVleet agreed to a four-year, $85 million extension, cementing his role as one of the key pillars of the team’s present and future plans.

The new uniform is very similar to the Raptors’ City Edition uniforms worn during the 2019-20 season, but there are some key differences. Notably, there is a singular gold streak under the “TORONTO” font on the uniform, while there are three gold streaks on the shorts.

The updated uniform isn’t available in the Real Sports store just yet, but surely it’s a matter of time before this black-and-gold classic will be flying off the shelves.

This is the continuation of the Raptors’ new uniform rollout for the upcoming season as the franchise previously released their Association, Icon and Statement jerseys in October.
