Sometimes it’s good to have a laugh at your own expense.

With the NBA season nearing its conclusion, late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel invited a number of basketball stars onto his show to read some mean tweets directed at the athletes themselves. Appearing on this edition of the episode were a pair of Toronto Raptors - Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam - to read some mean, but kind of funny, tweets.

“Kyle Lowry looks like a ‘where’s my hug’ kind of dude,” Lowry read.

“Siakam get like 60 teeth,” Siakam read. “I mean, I think you meant got,” he corrected while flashing a smile.

This isn’t the first time Lowry has appeared on the segment. In 2019, the Raptors star had to read a tweet that was certainly a little more hostile than the one he read this time around.

“Toronto need to get rid of Kyle Lowry ASAPPPPPPPPP,” the tweet started. “If I have to watch that fat a** attempt to take a 3 one more time I’m jumping off a building.”

@Kicox, the Twitter account that sent the tweet above, is likely in the minority when it comes to that opinion. Entering this offseason, Lowry is an unrestricted free agent, and I’m sure many Raptors fans would like to see him and his behind shooting more threes north of the border.
