Epic Kawhi Leonard billboard unveiled moments after Raptors win NBA title

As thousands of people filled the heart of Toronto after the Raptors captured their NBA first championship in thrilling fashion over the Golden State Warriors, their saviour emerged high above them in the city’s skyline.

During the wee hours of Friday morning, one of the biggest billboards in Yonge-Dundas Square changed to unveil Kawhi Leonard wearing a New Balance hoodie.

Referred to by his newly-discovered nickname ‘Board Man’ in the ad, the 2019 NBA Finals MVP’s face will likely be all over the city and country for a long time to come.
