Rangers' McAulay can't wait for first cup final

Mia McAulay is hoping to pick her up first trophy as a professional player in Sunday's SWPL Cup final.

The 17-year-old signed her first professional contract at the start of this season and can't wait for her first final as a senior player.

"I’m nervous and excited because I’ve never been in a cup final as a professional," McAulay said.

"Being in my first year in a professional contract, getting my first trophy under my belt would be a really proud moment for me and my family.

"At the start it was difficult, the jump from academy to first team is really big, but the girls have really brought me out my shell and made me feel like a proper first team player.

"I think now I’m at the best place I can be."
