Rangers' Big Time Players Expected To Play Against Islanders In Preseason Showdown
Most of the New York Rangers’ big guns are expected to play in the team’s second regular season game against the New York Islanders.
The group that is set to play on Tuesday night all practiced this morning in preparation for the game tonight.
The players who practiced included Artemi Panarin, Alexis Lafrenière, Vincent Trocheck, Chris Kreider, Mika Zibanejad, Reilly Smith, Adam Fox, Jacob Trouba, Matt Rempe, Filip Chytil, Zac Jones and Ryan Lindgren.
Both Igor Shesterkin and Jonathan Quick were also on the ice, but it’s unclear which of the two goalies will be starting and how Peter Laviolette is expected to divide up their playing time.
