Rami Malek is looking to make the leap from TV headliner (on Mr. Robot) to big-screen star with Bohemian Rhapsody, his upcoming biopic about legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury. And now, on the heels of a rocking teaser, we have our first full-length look at the star in action — all of which is set to the sounds of the band’s most unforgettable hits.

There’s plenty of “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” and “We Will Rock You” in the trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody. This isn’t surprising considering the fact that it’s the music that made Queen — and Mercury — rock royalty.

While we know that the film’s story will cover the period between Queen’s formation and the band’s Live Aid performance in 1985, this latest promo is still relatively light on actual narrative details. Nonetheless, it does show Mercury successfully joining the group, impressing initial audiences (and Lucy Boynton’s Mary Austin), and coming up with some of Queen’s unconventional hits. Malek’s Mercury clearly triumphs in front of enormous stadium crowds, where Mercury himself cemented his reputation as (per one of his bandmates) a “legend.” Plus, it also hints at Mercury’s homosexuality and his death from AIDS-related complications, which were both plot elements conspicuously absent from the initial teaser.
