OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) — Alex DeBrincat was the only player to score in the shootout and Ottawa beat Boston to snap a three-game skid.
DeBrincat and Tim Stutzle scored second-period goals for the Senators (15-16-3) while Cam Talbot made 49 saves, including 26 in the third period alone.

CALGARY, Alberta (AP) — Connor McDavid scored his NHL-leading 31st goal on a power play in the third period and Edmonton beat Calgary.
McDavid’s 16-game point streak (15 goals, 17 assists) is the longest active streak in the NHL and one short of his career high.
Tyson Barrie, with his 100th career goal, also scored for the Oilers.
Mikael Backlund scored the lone goal for Calgary, which had its four-game point streak snapped.

ST. LOUIS (AP) — William Nylander scored on a breakaway with 57 seconds left in overtime and Toronto beat St. Louis.
Toronto's TJ Brodie was awarded a penalty shot 1:24 into overtime after being tripped by Kyrou, but Jordan Binnington got his right pad on the puck. Binnington had 32 saves.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Michael Carcone scored in his first NHL game, Nick Schmaltz had his second power-play goal in two games Arizona ended Colorado's winning streak at four.
Shayne Gostisbehere, Lawson Crouse, J.J. Moser and Clayton Keller also scored for Arizona, Connor Ingram made 26 saves and Jacob Chychrun had three assists to reach 102 for his career. The Coyotes have won two straight and are 5-1-1 at home in 5,000-seat Mullett Arena.

Michael Amadio scored for the third straight game for Vegas, Brayden McNabb had a goal, and the Golden Knights started a Southern California back-to-back with their first loss in three games. Logan Thompson allowed three goals on 24 shots.

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Jared Spurgeon, Mats Zuccarello and Frederick Gaudreau each had a goal and an assist and Minnesota handed Winnipeg its first-three game skid of the season.
Samuel Walker scored his first NHL goal for the Wild, who are 7-1-0 in their past eight games. Sam Steel contributed a pair of assists.
Filip Gustavsson made 31 saves in his 14th game of the season for Minnesota.

Ilya Mikheyev had a goal and three assists, and Elias Pettersson, Brock Boeser and Quinn Hughes, with his first of the season, also scored for the Canucks. They are 7-3 in their last 10 games, with all three losses at home.
Timo Meir scored twice for San Jose and James Reimer made 19 saves. Reimer is a victory short of 200 in his NHL career.
