QMJHL Roundup: Pelletier leads Foreurs over Armada for ninth win in a row

RIMOUSKI, Que. — Jakob Pelletier scored once and set up four more, and Samuel Poulin had a goal and three assists as the Val-d'Or Foreurs topped the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada 7-3 on Monday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

Nathan Legare and Jeremy Michel added a pair of goals apiece to help league-leading Val-d'Or extend its win streak to nine games.

Maxim Cajkovic rounded out the offence for the Foreurs (20-2-4), who got 15 saves from Jonathan Lemieux.

Olivier Adam gave the Armada (14-6-2) a chance by stopping 50 shots.

Jeremy Rainville, Simon Lavigne and Alex Gendron scored for Blainville-Boisbriand.



RIMOUSKI, Que. — Justin Cote struck twice in the first period, Francesco Lapenna stopped 29-of-31 shots, and Drummondville (13-8-3) held on to top the Oceanic (8-17-4).
