QMJHL Roundup: Joshua Roy scores twice, Phoenix down Sagueneens 5-2

SHERBROOKE, Que. — Joshua Roy scored twice and Xavier Parent had a goal and two assists as the Sherbrooke Phoenix topped the Chicoutimi Sagueneens 5-2 on Monday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

Charles Tremblay added a goal and a helper while Justin Gill also scored for the Phoenix (7-17-2).

Hendrix Lapierre and Artemi Kniazev found the back of the net for the Sagueneens (15-6-5).

Samuel Hlavaj made 23 saves for Sherbrooke as Alexis Shank allowed three goals on 23 shots in 46 minutes to take the loss for Chicoutimi.
