HALIFAX — Bailey Peach and Sam Oliver both scored twice as the Charlottetown Islanders extended their win streak to 14 games with a 6-2 victory over the Halifax Mooseheads Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.
Keiran Gallant and Patrick Guay rounded out the offence for the Islanders (29-4-0), who haven't lost since Feb. 6 against the Cape Breton Eagles.
Justin Barron and Landon Miron supplied the goals for the Mooseheads (13-16-8).
Jacob Goobie made 15 saves for Charlottetown. Alexis Gravel stopped 17-of-20 shots in a period of work for Halifax before giving way to Brady James, who turned aside 22-of-25 shots in 40 minutes of relief.
