QMJHL Roundup: Ellis, Trudeau lead Islanders over Mooseheads 6-0

Colten Ellis made 20 saves and defenceman William Trudeau had a pair of goals as the Charlottetown Islanders blanked the Halifax Mooseheads 6-0 on Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.

Keiran Gallant, Thomas Casey, Cedric Desruisseaux and Patrick LeBlanc also scored for the Islanders (15-3-0).

Alexis Gravel turned away 34-of-40 shot for the Mooseheads (7-8-5), who finished the game without two of their veterans.

Justin Barron and Zachary L'Heureux were both handed game misconducts and ejected for checking-to-the-head. Barron took his major at 10:34 of the first, while L'Heureux was tossed at 11:40 of the third.
