QMJHL Roundup: Alexis Gravel, Mooseheads down Islanders 5-2
CHARLOTTETOWN — Alexis Gravel stopped 26 shots and James Swan scored twice as the Halifax Mooseheads downed the Charlottetown Islanders 5-2 on Wednesday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.
Justin Barron and Jordan Dumais had a goal and assist apiece to help Halifax halt Charlottetown's win streak at six games.
Zachary L'Heureux also scored while Markus Vidicek tacked on three assists for the Mooseheads (7-7-5).
Thomas Casey and Keiran Gallant found the back of the net for the Islanders (14-3-0).
Jacob Goobie turned away 22-of-26 shots for Charlottetown.
