Qarabag vs Chelsea: Champions League prediction, team news, line-ups and how to watch on TV and online

Chelsea can book their place in the Champions League knockout stages with a victory over Qarabag in Azerbaijan tonight.

The Azerbaijan outfit were thrashed 6-0 when these two teams met in September but hold their own very faint hopes of a last-16 place after holding Atletico Madrid to back-to-back draws.

Antonio Conte is unlikely to rotate, especially with Michy Batshuayi and Charly Musonda still sidelined, but David Luiz will be hoping for a reprieve after being left out of Chelsea's previous two games.

Start time

Qarabag host Chelsea at Baku Olympic Stadium with kick-off scheduled for 5pm on Wednesday, November 22.

TV and live online coverage

The match will be televised live on BT Sport 2, with coverage starting from 4.30pm. BT Sport subscribers will be able to stream the match online via the video player and the BT Sport app.

Alternatively, you can follow all the build-up and action from 4pm with Standard Sport’s London Football live blog.

Team news

Qarabag welcome back Dino Ndlovu from a one-game ban, but will have to make do without Pedro Henrique who is suspended.

David Luiz could play a part after returning to the Chelsea squad at the weekend, though has not played since the 3-0 loss to Roma amid reports of a bust-up with Antonio Conte.

The game may come too soon for Victor Moses, who is struggling with a hamstring injury, while Michy Batshuayi and Charly Musonda are sidelined.

Predicted line-ups

Qarabag (4-1-4-1): Sehic; Medvedev, Sadygov, Rzezniczak, Agolli; Garayev; Madatov, Michel, Almeida, Quintana; Ndlovu

Chelsea (3-4-3): Courtois; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger; Zappacosta, Kante, Drinkwater, Alonso; Willian, Morata, Pedro

Head to head

Chelsea and Qarabag have met just once before, on matchday one of this season's Champions League when the Blues ran out convincing 6-0 winners.
