PWHL Players Drop Out Of Czechia's Lineup For Women's Euro Hockey Tour
Originally, four PWHL players were scheduled to compete for Czechia at the December stop on the Women's Euro Hockey Tour in Finland.
After final rosters were announced across the PWHL this week, Klara Peslarova (Boston), Noemi Neubauerova (Toronto), Denisa Krizova (Minnesota), and Klara Hymlarova (Minnesota) were all removed from the Czechia roster.
The PWHL's remaining Czech players including Daniela Pejsova (Boston), Aneta Tejralova (Ottawa), Tereza Vanisova (Ottawa), Katerina Mrazova (Ottawa), and Dominika Laskova (Montreal) were already planning to remain in North America during the Six Nations event.
The tournament will feature Canada and USA's national development teams for the first time.
Czechia will replace the four PWHL players who were announced to no longer be attending with Viktorie Švejdová (HV71, SWE), Agáta Sarnovská (Leksand, SWE), Lucie Gruntová (HC Baník Příbram) and Tereza Pištěková (Djurgårdens, SWE).
Czechia will still have an NCAA contingent competing from North America including Natalie Mlynkova, Kristyna Kaltounkova, and Andrea Trnkova.
