Four Purdue players accused by two women of sexual assault are not facing charges regarding the allegations.

A law firm representing the women made the Oct. 13 allegations public Wednesday morning.

Per police reports obtained by the Lafayette Journal-Courier, the women allegedly were drinking and one messaged a football player inquiring about a threesome. A player picked them up and drove them to a spot where they drank and smoked pot with four players. After going to a sorority house, they then went back to the apartment where they first started drinking.

The women told police they began having sex with two of the football players in a bedroom upstairs. After several minutes, the other two footballs players who were in the room at the time initiated unwanted sex with them, they said. When questioned by police, the football players said they believed the sex was consensual but said, however, that one of the women asked one of the men to stop, and he did.

In separate statements to investigators, all parties said nobody was intoxicated to the point of being incapacitated that night.

The Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Office told the paper that no charges were filed after a review of evidence. The players are currently suspended from the team as a Title IX investigation is ongoing. Neither the Journal-Courier nor CBS Sports, who also obtained the police reports, named the accused players because of the lack of charges.

The release from the Massillamany & Jeter LLP law firm Wednesday morning asked for Purdue to “expedite expulsion proceedings” on the players.

“School officials must move quickly to hold these players accountable for their actions and show these victims that their voices are being heard,” attorney Mario Massillamany said in a statement. “Purdue and other schools have an obligation to send a message that this type of activity will not be tolerated.”

Purdue, 3-7, hosts No. 6 Wisconsin on Saturday.
