A video has emerged of Prince William's uncomfortable reaction to being questioned by a reporter about his uncle Prince Andrew, who was recently stripped of his military titles and His Royal Highness status amidst his ongoing sexual assault case with Virginia Giuffre – although he denies any wrongdoing.

In the clip, which was yesterday shared by ITV's Royal Editor Chris Ship, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can be seen walking through a crowd of reporters as they leave the Foundling Museum in London. "Do you support Prince Andrew?" a reporter is heard asking the Duke of Cambridge, who paused and leaned in to tell the reporter: "Sorry, I can't hear you."

The journalist responded by asking again, "Do you support Prince Andrew? Have you spoken to him recently?" A somewhat flustered Prince William, although wearing a mask, appears to awkwardly smile before remaining silent. He then puts his arm around wife Kate Middleton as they exit the building. In the background, a woman is heard saying "We've got to move on now" while another says "I'm so sorry" to the Duchess.

It comes just days after Prince Charles faced a similar question whilst out on a walk. "Not much of a response from Prince Charles when he was asked today about the decision by the Royal Family to remove his brother, Prince Andrew’s military affiliations and royal patronages," ITV's Ship said in a tweet, alongside a clip of Prince Charles' reaction. "When I say not much of a response, it was actually zero."

In the short clip, the Prince of Wales is approached by a journalist who asks if he has any comment on "his brother's position". But, Prince Charles refuses to respond, instead continuing with his official engagement and greeting others with a handshake.

But, whilst some royal fans were unhappy with Charles' refusal to answer the question, others praised him for his dignified response. "Very rude to ask him and his response was dignified" said one person on Twitter, with another person tweeting: "Why should he say anything? There had been an announcement made by the Royal family regarding this matter. He was there on other business, not to discuss his brother."

Last week, the Queen announced she had made the decision to remove Prince Andrew's military titles and royal patronages, just hours after his lawyer's attempts to have a civil sexual assault case against him were thrown out of court.
