He's back across the pond and he's not holding back. Prince Harry returned to London to testify in his court case against Mirror Group Newspapers and, according to court documents, the Duke of Sussex and everyone's favorite royal memoir maestro claims that the tabloids in his home country of the U.K. have relentlessly tried to break up his relationships. Not only did he mention his marriage to Meghan Markle and the discontent the papers have sewn via skewed coverage of her, Harry also said that the practice of girlfriend smear campaigns has been a thing for his entire life — and his team even mentioned his ex, Chelsy Davy.

"Whenever I got into a relationship, they were very keen to report the details but would then, very quickly, seek to try and break it up by putting as much strain on it and creating as much distrust as humanly possible," Harry's statement read, according to the BBC. "This twisted objective is still pursued to this day even though I’m now married. I simply don’t understand (and never have) how the inner, private details of my relationships ... could have anything to do with the well-being of society or the running of the country and therefore be in the public interest."

Marie Claire points out that Harry's latest statement is similar to one that he submitted last month via his lawyer, David Sherborne. At the time, Sherborne stated that his client "became immediately suspicious of anyone named in stories about him and felt that he could not trust anybody, even at such a young age. It also caused great challenges in his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy, and made him fear for his and her safety."

His statement went on to say that Harry's friendships and romantic relationships were constantly under scrutiny and that everyone in his orbit would be involved in a maelstrom of negativity that he couldn't control.

"Every time he was in a relationship, or even a rumored relationship, that whole person’s family, and often their friends, would be 'dragged into the chaos' and find themselves the subject of unlawful activity on the part of MGN," Sherborne finished.
