Primerano Becomes All-Time Leading Scorer Among Defenders At U-18 World Championships

With her third point in the 2025 U-18 World Championships, Canada's Chloe Primerano took over sole possession of the all-time scoring lead among defenders at the U-18 World Championships.

Primerano's assist was her 19th point in only nine games. She passed Jincy Roese and Brigette Lacquette who each scored 18 points in 15 and 10 games respectively. With the quarterfinals and potentially more games still to come, Primerano has time to add to her totals.

Last year Primerano recorded eight goals and 16 points in six games and was named the tournament MVP.

Primerano was recently named the WCHA Defender of the Month in her rookie season with the University of Minnesota. She has 11 points in 16 games this season for the Golden Gophers.
