Premier League long table: your side's TRUE place in the league

The league table is a list, but the Long Table shows you how close teams are

Now we're 10 games in, the Long Table is back for another campaign. Calm yourselves at the back there.

The Premier League table shows you a list of teams in the right order, but it's not the best at showing true disparity between teams. Naturally, gaps will widen as the campaign progresses, but even at this early stage we can see a chasm of space between mid-table also-rans and potential Premier League drop-dodgers.

Five points separate Leicester in 13th and the three teams directly below them: West Ham, Crystal Palace and Burnley, who all have work ahead to ensure they're not dragged down with the struggling riff-raff this term.

Despite being unbeaten after 10 matches, Manchester City haven't managed to pull clear yet – what with Liverpool and Chelsea also without loss and keeping the pace. The Long Table was quite a sight with City's 19-point advantage over second-placed Manchester United last season, when Pep Guardiola's side were basically popping the champagne corks by September.

For now, behold...
