Throwing dead animals on the ice is nothing new for Predators fans, but they’ve really stepped up their game against the Anaheim Ducks.
Prior to Game 4 on Thursday, a fan tossed a dead mallard on the ice, feathers and all. It was a little uncouth, but for the most part the fans seemed to love it.

This was a follow-up to the original skinned-duck troll job that took place in Game 3, executed by a local high school teacher.
The Predators usually just throw catfish on the ice, a tradition that started in the 2002-03 season in response to the one made famous by their rivals in Detroit. Although they did toss promotional oven mitts on the ice earlier this year.
One can only imagine what they have in store for Part III of the trilogy when the series swings back to Nashville for Game 6.
