Potential trade pieces for the Blue Jays at the deadline

As the dog days of summer continue to roll on, the calendar inches closer to MLB Trade Deadline day on July 31st.

Given the first-half performance by the Toronto Blue Jays, the team has firmly established themselves as sellers at the deadline.

At this point of the season, many expected the team would be trying to move former AL MVP Josh Donaldson but as Nick Ashbourne explains, that may be easier said than done.

Selling the three-time All-Star at this time may not be the best move, considering his 2018 season has been plagued by a nagging calf injury. The team may be better off waiting for him to return to form in order to get more value out of its superstar.

However, aside from the third baseman, the team has quite a few appealing assets that could be on the move in the days to come.
