Postecoglou on Bissouma suspension, Solanke and Leicester
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has been speaking to the media before Monday's Premier League game at Leicester City (kick-off 20:00 BST).
Here are the key lines from his news conference:
Postecoglou confirmed Bissouma has been suspended by the club after a video of him emerged online appearing to inhale laughing gas: "[I've] been in the game for a long time. When a situation like this arises, I've tried to look at them in a couple of ways. First, there's a person, it's Biss and he's made a poor decision."
Tottenham reacted by issuing a one-match ban: "There are still sanctions involved, and some of those are educational. The second part of that is he's a footballer, with responsibilities. We've suspended him for Monday's game. He needs to build that trust back with both me and the group."
However, Postecoglou has not written Bissouma off: "The door is open for him and hopefully we can help him realise the decisions he makes impact the group. [It's down to] behaviour - it's that simple. It's about making better decisions. He was very apologetic to me, the club and everyone involved, but that's just part of it."
New signing Dominic Solanke is expected to play on Monday: "Thankfully, it's what we expected. He's a top pro and a good guy - he's settled into the dressing room really well. Football-wise you can see he has all the attributes we need. We've still got a couple of training sessions to go but he's doing well."
In fact, Postecoglou expects to have a full squad to choose from: "Knock on wood, at the moment, everyone's training. Obviously, players like Richy (Richarlison) and Fraser [Forster] are the last two in the training group so they've had a good week of training but no game time. They are training, which is the main thing, and everyone seems to be in good condition."
