Kevin Danso will not be joining the Giallorossi as he is headed back to Lens following last night’s announcement of a failed medical.

The Austrian defender did not pass his medical examinations in the Italian capital, which resulted in the move collapsing overnight.

Reports in Italy claim the 25-year-old was diagnosed with a form of irregular heartbeat.

Today, Tuttomercatoweb caught the defender at Fiumicino Airport, ready to fly back to France where he will make his return to Lens for the remainder of the season.
