Phil Mickelson won the PGA Championship at age 50 on Sunday to become golf's oldest major champion.

He finished two shots ahead of Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen at Kiawah Island's Ocean Course in Soutn Carolina following an excellent final round performance.

With the win, Mickelson surpassed Julius Boros (48 at 1968 PGA Championship) as the oldest major champion of all-time.

The American, who turns 51 next month, now owns six major victories, a mark only 13 other men's golfers have achieved.

More to come.
