Pharrell, Ariana Grande in NFL 'lineup'

SEATTLE (AP) -- Pharrell is bringing ''Happy'' to the NFL.

The platinum-selling musician will perform outside of CenturyLink Field in Seattle on Sept. 4 before the Seattle Seahawks play the Greenbay Packers as the NFL kicks off its 95th season.

Pop singer Ariana Grande will sing the national anthem. It will air on NBC and the NFL Network.

The Seahawks won the Super Bowl earlier this year.

Seattle-based rockers Soundgarden will kick off the free event with a performance. Part of it will air on the NFL Network.
