Pellegrini, Cristante, Paredes to start vs Empoli
Daniele De Rossi is expected to rely on some the team’s veterans for the first home game of the season with Empoli.
Despite the rumors of Paulo Dybala’s imminent exit, De Rossi has been urging his players to remain focused on the second matchday of the season after the average display against Cagliari on Sunday.
The Roma boss doesn’t want to take any risks: that is why Corriere dello Sport predicts a line-up consisting of the likes of Pellegrini, Cristante and Paredes.
Enzo Le Fée, after a positive performance vs Cagliari, is likely to start on the bench.
In the meantime, Stephan El Shaarawy could take over and replace Nicola Zalewski on the left flank, with Dovbyk and Soulé also leading the line.
