Patriots LB Harvey Langi's wife shares emotional reunion after car accident
New England Patriots rookie linebacker Harvey Langi and his wife, Cassidy, were hospitalized after a car accident less than five days ago.
The two were injured and had to be transported to the hospital after an SUV rear-ended the Langis’ car. The accident was so severe they both had to be freed by the jaws of life before they were taken to different hospitals.
That made the couple’s reunion on Wednesday even more special. Cassidy detailed the ordeal in an Instagram post:
“I completely blacked out and don’t remember anything, while Harvey remembers seeing me, his wife, laying lifeless and gushing blood,” she wrote.
In Cassidy’s heartfelt post she also said it had been three days since they had seen each other, which can definitely be scary after being separated after a serious car accident.

According to NBC Sports, Cassidy was more seriously injured in the accident than the undrafted rookie out of BYU. Cassidy suffered broken ribs and fractures in both hips.
Langi suffered neck and head injuries. He’s using crutches to walk around.
The day following the accident, the Patriots sent out a statement regarding Langi’s accident.

Langi has played in only one game and has one tackle for the Patriots. But when you go through a scare like he and his wife did the only moments that really matter are the ones like he and his wife shared in their reunion.
