The Patriots say a viral New York Times' photo of their trip to the White House Wednesday doesn't tell the whole truth.

Update: The President has given his response to the photo, calling it a "big lie."

The Patriots say a viral New York Times photo of their trip to the White House Wednesday was misleading. The photo compared New England's turnout to the White House this year to their trip in 2015. The tweet was shared over 44,000 times and had 65,000 likes.

The Patriots posted this response to The New York Times, saying the photo did not include any of New England's coaching staff, who were seated on the South Lawn.

And then shared their own photo.

And another — saying their total turnout was about the same as the players who attended when President George Bush was in office.

The New York Times responded by removing the photo from their website.
