Paredes thanks fans for their support, discusses Edoardo Bove’s health scare
Leandro Paredes made a post-match media appearance on DAZN following Roma’s 0-2 loss to Atalanta.
At full-time at Stadio Olimpico, the Argentine midfielder said of the incident involving Bove during Fiorentina-Inter, “I was watching the game, I didn’t understand what happened at first.”
“Talking about it now, I still get shivers. I wish him the best and send a big hug to his family,” he added.
“We got unlucky in the second half with an unfortunate episode,” he continued.
“Up until that point we had played a very good game, that episode decided the match but we just have to continue and move forward, thinking about the next one.”
“We have to start again from this performance and what the coach tells us. It wasn’t easy after London to play a game like this against a team like Atalanta.”
“Up until the 70th minute we played very well, we have to start again from this.”
“We must thank the fans, at this moment it is not easy to sing the whole match like they do. We must start again from this, they too have certainly seen a changed Roma.”
“It’s a special fanbase, this one, that supports you even in hard times.”
