Packers may not sell out playoff game vs. Giants

Every game at Lambeau Field since 1959 has been sold out. But as of Friday afternoon, the Green Bay Packers’ wild-card round playoff game against the New York Giants on Sunday still has tickets available through Ticketmaster, both from the team and on the resale market.

The weather may be playing a role, as it’s predicted to be around 15 degrees at kickoff, but it’s Green Bay, Wisconsin in January – it’s always cold. And to some Green Bayers, they don’t even consider 15 degrees to be that cold (true story).

There may be a late push for tickets, but maybe not: the NFL lifted its blackout rule in 2015, meaning the game will still be shown locally even if the game isn’t sold out.
