There are many things we love about Olivia Colman: her diverse acting abilities, her fiendish sense of humour and her continual efforts to promote gender equality (just check out the message behind her jewellery at the Golden Globes).

And we can now add to that list, the fact that she can strut her stuff down the Oscars red carpet in a £10 lipstick from the Great British High Street.

No7 proudly took to their Instagram to post a photo of The Crown star, accompanied by the caption: “An iconic beauty look on #OliviaColman to celebrate Hollywood’s biggest night [makeup artist] @sarahuslan applies the NEW Protect & Perfect Advanced All-In-One Foundation + The Full 360 Mascara on Olivia for a hydrated, smooth complexion that glows and lengthy lashes.”

The post mentions the mascara and foundation used by the A-lister’s makeup artist, but we can’t help but be drawn to Colman’s lips.

And we clearly weren’t the only ones, as the No7 Match Made Moisture Drench Lipstick she is sporting in shade Pink Hint is already sold out.

However, all is not lost, as you can pick up one of the 40 other shades available in the range for just £10. Hallelujah!

From deep reds to brighter berry colours, No7 claim this is their “most moisturising” lipstick yet, promising your lips will remain totally moisturised for up to eight hours after application.

And there are a plethora of reviews on the Boots website to back this claim up.

“The formula is also extremely hydrating and it lasts a decent amount of time,” one fan wrote, while another commented: “I own four of these lipsticks (Honey Bloom, Soft Tulip, Soft Ruby, Soft Paprika), and people are consistently astonished that they're not very high end. They're easy to wear, comfortable, and lightly hydrating.”

Let’s hear three cheers for the high street!
