NYFW: Rebecca Minkoff embraces rocker chic for Fall 2017

Rebecca Minkoff isn't one to do things lightly, as she's proven the past couple of fashion weeks.

Unlike other designers, who present at New York Fashion Week for a season ahead, Minkoff has embraced the "see now, buy now" experimental model by taking her most recent collection and throwing it on the runway.

"This model aims to get the consumer excited about retail again. I think being able to give the consumer something that she can be excited about and get right away is something that we have to do, especially now with social media and the over-proliferation of images," she said to The Daily Mail.

Saturday's show was no different. Flaunted by her blogger friends, including Something Navy's Arielle Charnas and Janni Deler, Minkoff's newest collection -- for Fall 2017 -- was showcased down the rug-clad runway in the designer's intimate pop up shop.

With the help of these social media influencers, and names like Jessica Alba (plus her growing baby bump) and Victoria Justice, Minkoff makes her clothes more accessible for fans of the brand -- they see what they like and are able to take the clothes straight off the runway, into their own closets.

The designer explained what this means for the consumer. "We've been breaking the rules for our customer, and she likes it. I love how it really gives the fashion show new meaning. If a blogger or a celebrity posts an image, it's now actionable and you can go buy those goods and don't have to wait 6 months," she said to The Daily Mail.

And given the looks of this new collection, supporters of the Minkoff gang are *so* happy they don't have to wait half a year to shop these stylistic looks. The collection, which was inspired by a Rolling Stones road trip with Anita Pallenburg, focused on rocker chic favorites, including leather jackets, graphic tees, printed bombers and colorful fur jackets.

We'd go on tour with Minkoff any day.
