In numbers: Free-scoring Dundee's start to season

Tony Docherty's Dundee have now won six and drawn one of their opening seven matches after dismantling Airdrieonians in the League Cup on Saturday.

That form means this is the club's best start to a season since 1972-73, when they won six League Cup group matches and drew their opening league fixture.

The six goals scored at Dens Park at the weekend takes Dundee's tally for the season to a staggering 29 goals in just seven games this campaign.

They have also now scored six or more goals in three of those seven matches.
