Noche UFC post-event facts: Alexa Grasso, Valentina Shevchenko fight to rare title draw

The inaugural Noche UFC event proved to be a massive success for the company, with the Mexican Independence Day celebration going down Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Although she didn’t get the victory, Mexico’s Alexa Grasso (16-3-1 MMA, 8-3-1 UFC) still left as women’s flyweight champion after she battled Valentina Shevchenko (23-4-1 MMA, 12-3-1 UFC) to a split draw in their main event rematch.

Debuting fighters went 2-1 at the event.

Raul Rosas Jr., Daniel Zellhuber, Loopy Godinez, Roman Kopylov and Charlie Campbell earned $50,000 Noche UFC fight-night bonuses.

Noche UFC had an announced attendance of 18,766 for a live gate of $2,265,537.16.

Betting favorites went 8-1 on the card. One fight ended in a draw and one fight ended in a no contest.

Alexa Grasso vs. Valentina Shevchenko

Grasso vs. Shevchenko marked the sixth championship fight in modern UFC history to end in a draw.

Della Maddalena’s six-fight UFC winning streak at welterweight is tied with Ian Machado Garry for the longest active streak in the division.

Kevin Holland (25-10 MMA, 11-7 UFC) fell to 4-2 since he dropped to the UFC welterweight division in March 2022.
