Nicolas Batum: (Back) Will Sit Out Monday

Rotowire.com
Update: Batum (back) has been ruled for Monday's game against the Raptors, CSN Northwest reports.

Recommendation: Batum didn't participate in shootaround with his back pain remaining an ongoing issue. Following Monday's game, the Blazers won't play until Thursday, giving Batum a few days to recuperate and try to return to the lineup. Coach Terry Stotts hasn't decided who will take Batum's place Monday, with his decision contingent upon Wes Matthews's (hip flexor) availability.
