NHL legend Guy Lafleur to undergo quadruple bypass heart surgery
Montreal Canadiens legend Guy Lafleur will soon undergo a quadruple bypass surgery on his heart, as reported by TSN’s Tony Marinaro.

One of the greatest hockey players to ever grace the ice, “The Flower” dazzled fans in a storied career that spanned from 1971-1991, playing more than a thousand games during 14 seasons in Montreal, two seasons with the Quebec Nordiques and one with the New York Rangers.
The Hall of Famer has quite the collection of hardware to justify his designation as one of the top 100 Greatest NHL Players of all time. He won five Stanley Cups with Montreal, the Hart Trophy twice, the Art Ross Trophy three times, the Conn Smythe Trophy once, and was voted a three-time Lester B. Pearson Award winner (now the Ted Lindsay Award).
Since retirement, the 68-year-old has officially served as a Canadiens ambassador and is well loved and respected in the Montreal and NHL community. Thoughts and prayers go out to the legend ahead of his surgery.
