April 23 (The Sports Xchange) - Highlights of Wednesday's National Hockey League playoff games. - - - Blackhawks 4, Blues 3 (overtime) In the third overtime game in the first four meetings of the first-round Western Conference playoff series, the Chicago Blackhawks rallied to defeat the St. Louis Blues. Patrick Kane's wrist shot at 11:17 of overtime -- his second goal of the game and third of the series -- proved to be the winner as Chicago evened the best-of-seven series at 2-2. Game Five is on Friday in St. Louis. The Blackhawks took a 2-0 lead in the second period but St. Louis scored three straight, including two goals from Vladimir Tarasenko. Chicago goalie Corey Crawford stopped 30 of 33 shots and Ryan Miller stopped 30 of 34 for the Blues. - - - Stars 4, Ducks 2 The Dallas Stars shook off an early 2-0 deficit with four consecutive goals to beat Anaheim and even their Western Conference first-round series at 2-2. The Ducks took a 2-0 lead when defenseman Bryan Allen and winger Patrick Maroon scored in the first period. Dallas captain Jamie Benn and center Vernon Fiddler scored in the second period before Cody Eakin and defenseman Alex Goligoski tallied in the third to give the Stars the win. Dallas lost rookie defenseman Patrik Nemeth to an injury and he did not return after the first period. - - - Blue Jackets 4, Penguins 3 (Overtime) Nick Foligno scored at 2:49 of overtime to give the Columbus Blue Jackets a win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, tying their first-round series at 2-2. Game 5 will be played Saturday night in Pittsburgh. The Penguins did all of their scoring in the first 11 minutes of the game, taking a 3-0 lead, but the Blue Jackets chipped away and eventually got the equaliser in the final minute. Craig Adams, Chris Kunitz and James Neal scored for the Penguins, who got 44 saves from Marc-Andre Fleury. Boone Jenner, Ryan Johansen and Brandon Dubinsky, with just 24 seconds left in regulation, scored for the Blue Jackets. (Editing by Peter Rutherford)
