NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Player Pickups Nov. 30 - Cashing In Dorofeyev

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

Forwards

Anthony Cirelli, C, TB vs. TOR (48% rostered)

If Cirelli is making an excellent last-ditch case to be Canada's team for the upcoming 4 Nations Face-Off. He's scored eight goals in his past eight games despite seeing his ice time decrease with Brayden Point returning to the lineup. Against a heated rival with Auston Matthews returning to the lineup, perhaps Cirelli's focus will be more on defense than offense, but it's hard to ignore his hot streak.

Fabian Zetterlund, LW/RW, SJ at SEA (46% rostered)
William Eklund, LW, SJ at SEA (24% rostered)

Considering Friday's matchup featured 13 (!) goals, both Zetterlund and Eklund are worth streaming again. Zetterlund shoots the puck more but Eklund has a slightly more favorable deployment with PP1 minutes, and expected starter Joey Daccord wasn't as sharp as he usually was in his previous start against the Ducks, allowing five goals on 28 shots (.848 SP).

Yegor Sharangovich, C/RW, CGY at PIT (26% rostered)

Sharangovich saw his four-game points streak snapped in a 5-2 loss to Columbus, but again it's hard to ignore his increased production. He's putting shots on goal on a regular basis and the Pens' defense is arguably the most porous in the league. It would be a minor miracle if the Pens somehow kept the Flames' goal-scoring to a minimum. The Flames' recent line juggling with Sharangovich now on a line with Mikael Backlund is not ideal, but he's at least been a fixture on PP1.

Pavel Dorofeyev, LW/RW, VEG vs. UTA (23% rostered)

The frustrating thing about young talented scorers is that they can be so inconsistent. But when they're scoring, just like how Dorofeyev is now, they can really pile up the points. A two-assist effort against the Jets gives Dorofeyev five points in his past five games. With Connor Ingram not expected to dress, Utah will either start Karel Vejmelka in his second game in just as many nights (with travel from SLC) following an overtime loss to the Oilers, or third-string Jaxson Stauber, who has not seen NHL action since his last start on Feb. 22, 2023.

Defensemen

Philip Broberg, D, STL (17% rostered)

Broberg was excellent for the Blues prior to his injury, scoring nine points in 12 games, and he will return to the lineup Saturday for the first time since Nov. 2. Truthfully, Broberg was getting quite lucky and it's highly unlikely he can regain that scoring pace, but the Blues' blue line is also starved of offense. We shall see what kind of usage Broberg sees under Jim Montgomery, but with 'D' being such a thin position in fantasy, Broberg's worth the low-risk add.

Honorable mention:

Anton Lundell, C/RW, FLA vs. CAR (35% rostered)
Bryan Rust, RW, PIT vs. CGY (33% rostered)
Marco Rossi, C, MIN vs. NSH (17% rostered)
